Noble Heroes Ride

Today I rode with some of the members of my Blue Knights Chapter in the Noble Heroes Motorcycle Ride.  Noble Heroes is an organization that assists injured public safety personnel.  The ride was to benefit a Fulton County Police Officer who stopped while off duty to assist a woman being assaulted by a man.  The Fulton County Officer was in his patrol car and in uniform.  The man assaulting the woman was an off duty officer from another jurisdiction.  He shot and seriously injured the off duty Fulton County Officer.  I know it sounds like a mess and it was.

The ride started in Alpharetta and went up Georgia 400 for a bit and then took some nice roads through Forsyth, Cherokee and Fulton Counties before ending at our destination at the Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub in Milton.  There appeared to be about 150 motorcycles that participated.
