This morning I got a message from a friend saying that he and his wife were going to go for a ride today and they wanted to know if we wanted to come along. Being the good husband and knowing I had yard work to do, I gracefully declined saying that I really did need to mow the lawn and pull some more ivy. Donna then said to me “Well you can cut the grass tomorrow can’t you? Call him and tell him we’ll go.” So this time it’s her fault that we went for a ride! We met our friends and then headed up US HWY 411 towards Chatsworth where we had a lunch in a Mexican restaurant. From there it up and over Fort Mountain on twisty Georgia HWY 2 and on into Ellijay before heading for home. It was about 70 degrees and a great way to spend a day on the first weekend of spring. We were back home rode 144 miles today.
